Ceremonial-grade Cacao

Cacao is the raw, unprocessed version of cocoa.

This product is powdered cacao powder. It is the powder form of what you may elsewhere find as the chunks.

Note how this is a light brown powder and still contains the fats and has resemblance to the cacao beans themselves. These are seeds of the cacao plant. The butter and fats inside of the seeds are sometimes separated into another substances known as cocoa butter.

This is not the cooking ingredient cocoa powder, which has the butters and fats removed. This is not a food or cooking product.
